We're Moving!

It is official, we are moving. Adam received a promotion which required relocating. The offer was too great to pass up, so we are headed to Vail, Arizona. It is southeast of Tucson. We are about 10 miles or so from Tucson. We found a great house to rent and we are excited. Adam's company hired a moving and relocation company to pack and move everything for us. How awesome is that? This will be our 4th move in the last 5 years, so needless to say, we were ecstatic that we didn't have to worry about packing and moving anything. We are sad that we won't be as close to our friends and family, but we won't be that far away. It is a shorter drive than Flagstaff and I used to do that drive weekly when I was student teaching. We also have spare bedrooms in the new house for visitors. We already have requests, just let us know!

I had started in the Kyrene School District this year. I informed the district and my principal of our situation. I told them that I would stay until they found a replacement teacher, knowing that it might take awhile to find a special education teacher. It only took about 3 weeks. I stayed for a week with her to help the transition with the kids. I am hoping to find a teaching job when I get down there. There are openings currently for special education teachers, so hopefully one is a great fit for me.
