Sick :(

When we were in Green Valley, Tanner was pretty clingy and quick to cry, which is way out of the ordinary for him. He wasn't running a fever or anything and we chalked it up to teething. Well it starting pulling pretty badly at his ear. So I decided to take him in on Monday. Sure enough he had his first ear infection. The doctor said he was doing pretty well considering most babies get their first ear infection between 3 and 4 months old. He is almost 10, so that is awesome. He was prescribe the "pink" medicine. I am sure you all remember it from when you were a kid. I know I remember it and I actually liked it. He didn't mind it too much. By Tuesday he was back to his normal self. The doctor also said that his temperament will be more of an indicator of when he isn't feeling good rather than his temperature. Up until this past weekend, he hasn't ever had a fever.

So he recovers from his ear infection, to get the stomach bug. On Friday,  I was off of work for "Holiday Friday" better known as Good Friday. Around 10 he puked everywhere. I am talking projectile all over the house. Poor little guy. He has only thrown up once before and he was fine right after and didn't do it again. Well this time, he did it about 5 times. I took him in to the doctor to make sure he wasn't dehydrated. He prescribed pedialite(disgusting, and Tanner hated it too) and also Guava nectar if the did take to the pedialite. That seemed to help. He was feeling great by Saturday morning. That is when I started to feel sick. I then spent the day repeating what Tanner did the day before. Adam, the followed suit on Sunday. We are all doing great now!

Now he is back to his happy little self.

Green Valley Trip

A few weeks ago we went down to Green Valley with some of Adam's family for the weekend. His uncle, aunt and cousin from Alaska were in Arizona visiting for a week or so and the family took them down to Green Valley to relax for the first weekend they were here. We stayed at the Wyndham Canoa Resort and it was fabulous. We stayed in a suite that was bigger than our house. It had a huge wrap around deck, fire place, jacuzzi tub, full kitchen, etc., etc. It was gorgeous. It rained the entire time we were there so we didn't get any pool time in, but we did get to relax a bit. Tanner got to play with his cousin Natalie who is about 3 weeks older than him. It was so much fun to watch them interact and play. On our way back from the trip we stopped in Tucson to see my old college roomie and best friend Jen and her fiance Tyler. We met for lunch and Tanner loved all the attention. He loved Tyler so much that he didn't want to come to Adam or I when it was time to leave. Here are some pics!

Graduation Party

I finally finished my master's degree in the middle of March! Adam and Kipperly threw me a graduation party. It was a lot of fun getting to see everyone and just relax! I didn't have to worry about writing a paper that weekend, or anymore weekends for that matter! Thank you to everyone that was able to make it over!
