9 Months!

Today Tanner is 9 months old. He had a doctor's appointment today. Here are his stats:

Weight: 21 lbs 14 oz, 76th percentile
Height: 29 inches, 72nd percentile
Head Circumference: 17.7 inches, 52nd percentile 
Tooth Count: 2

Tanner is crawling everywhere, pulling up on anything and everything he can. He will walk around or along furniture. He is saying all sorts of new sounds. He is copying our movements and is starting to wave bye-bye. He is picking up finger foods really well. He is going to start to eat meat, yogurt and cheese now.  He loves mangoes, papaya, peas, mashed potatoes, and squash at the moment. We still can't believe he is already 9 months old. He has been alive longer than I was pregnant with him. It is crazy to think that it has already been 9 months. Our lives are completely different and we wouldn't change it for the world!

March Happenings

March has been a very busy month for us. Tanner is all over the place with crawling and pulling-up on everything and anything he is near. He is a very fast crawler. He LOVES to be chased. He will start crawling, then look back at us to see if we are following. If we are then he squeals and tries his hardest to crawl as fast as he can. It is pretty funny.  I had a week off for spring break and Tanner and I were able to go to the park quite a bit. He loves to swing and he now likes grass. He used to immediately start crying the second you sat him down in it. We had a graduation party for me at my house and he loved all of the attention. Teeth!

Tanner got his first tooth on March 9th! It seemed like he was teething forever! Teething turned our usually happy kiddo:

into a miserable little guy:

Poor thing! He now has two bottom teeth and is working on a top tooth!

Look closely and you can see his two, VERY sharp teeth.

8 Months Old!

 Tanner is 8 months old and is doing new things almost everyday. He is officially an effective crawler. He started crawling on February 14th. He is all over the place. He has even climbed up our bottom stairs (with us right next to him of course). He also pulls up and stands anywhere he can. He LOVES his new found freedom. He now can follow us around and see what we are doing. He gets the biggest smile on his face we he stands up, he is so proud of himself. He is also "talking" a lot too. He says, "DADADADADADA!!!" It doesn't have meaning yet, but it is his favorite thing to yell at the top of his lungs :) He also says, "mamamamama" and "gagagagaga". He has also developed a new smile. He uses his whole face and it is adorable. He also loves to be scared, like really scared. He starts laughing and laughing.  I guess we are in for a lot of scary movies and roller coasters. :)
